Tips to reduce frequent vomiting in infants
Reduce the number of feeds if your baby is feeding a lot of milk and is overweight.
Feed your baby with his head higher than his stomach.
Increase the number of feeds, but by reducing the amount of milk in each feeding, you can feed him every two hours with less milk.
Immediately after feeding, hold your baby in a standing or semi-sitting position and gently pat his back for a quarter of an hour, so that he can burp, and any excess air that entered his stomach during feeding is expelled.
Don’t put pressure on your baby’s stomach right after feeding, and don’t wear a belt.
If your baby is 5 months or older, add some foods to formula, if the baby receives it, so that it becomes more firm, such as Cerelac.
